Panamá a nivel de Maestría y Licenciatura. Especialistas en Suelos e Hidrología en Elaboración del
Plan Regional para la Región Interoceánica de Panamá y Estudios de Impacto Ambiental de la
Ampliación del Canal de Panamá, Línea 1 del Metro de Panamá, Tercer Puente sobre el Canal de
Panamá,
Expositor y Coordinador de Mesa en Simposio Internacional de Cuencas “HELP”, Congreso
Iberoamericano de Ambiente y Desarrollo, Autor de 3 Temas en Enciclopedia of Life Support
Systems “EOLSS” Ponencias en Congreso Científicos a nivel Nacional e Internacional.

Dr. Carlos Him González is the Senior Professor of Soils and Water Conservation and Watershed
Management at the University of Panama at the Bachelor and Master of Science level. He is also the
acting President at the Central American Agency for Accreditation of Agricultural and Environmental
Sciences “ACESAR.”
He has a Bachelor degree in Agronomy and M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Soils and Water Conservation
from the University of Missouri, Columbia, USA with a Fulbright scholarship.
His research interests relate to Soils and Water Management and Conservation under growing Water
Crisis and Climate Change. He is a scientific advisor for numerous academic and public institutions in
the Central American region related to Water Crisis and Climate Change. His consulting activities are in
the areas of Environmental Impact Studies and Water Crisis under Climate Change.
